oh my god another art poast

Insane.  Seems I'm in an artsy mood today.  :B

OM NOOOOOOM.  Who DOESN'T wanna bite Eames's lip?  For srs.

I'm actually pleased with the colour on this one.  I like messy colours. <3  I prefer Arthur mentally topping and Eames physically topping.
I think way too much about these things.  8'D  In case this gets TOS'd by lame PB, here's a link to it on Y!gallery

I did draw another one but my scanner killed it and I don't feel like scanning it again right now.  Possibly tomorrow.

FUCK ME I'M OUT OF PAGES IN MY SKETCHBOOK.  I've had it since TDK fandom, so as far as sketchbooks go it lasted a pretty decent amount of time.  I've been way more into digital art than traditional over the past few years, so that explains it.  But guuuuh, now I need more paper.  Ffff.  Gonna beg daddy when he gets home.  8'D

I know. Hence why I failed art. Oops. >.>

Lol. I'm insanely detail orientated on the people too. It's ridiculous. I haven't had the same art teacher in college, but for high school I had the same one for three years. She got to know my, uh, quirks very well. When we had to do figure drawing and we did gesture drawing? Yeah, I totally failed that part. "What do you mean I only have a minute to draw the body?!?! The MOVING body!!!"

Oh my gooood gesture drawing is pretty much my absolute favourite way to do traditional art. I am SO, SO, SO in love with it. <333 In my one class we did 6ft tall gesture drawings in ink... WITH PADDLES. That was the best class ever, so much fun. I still have ink droplets on my converse from that class, I wear them with pride.

But I definitely was really frustrated with it at first because omfg no control over anything at all D8>

Haha. We didn't do it that big. Not in HS anyway. In my college one we did fairly big ones but never in ink. Just charcoal. My jacket sleeve is still covered in charcoal (I don't understand why it doesn't wash out!) and the elbow is covered in black paint. Lol.

I got better at it in college. Got the gesture done, then went in to fill in the details if I had time....
